Citizens have expressed their gratitude in true New York style—with pizzas and coffee.

The bombings in Manhattan left 29 people injured on Saturday. The perceived terror attack was followed by first responders coming out to guard the scenes.

Officers were rewarded with pizza and coffee for selfless dedication to their jobs, which citizens gave out to much adulation from onlookers who then went on to post videos of the act on social media.

Amidst the somber atmosphere, officers accepted their treats humbly.

Yesterday, a suspicious device—similar to the nondescript bombs found in New York—set off in New Jersey.

Binge verdict: While Trump capitalises on the situation and blames Obama and Clinton for terror attacks (and compares Syrian refugees to Skittles candy), it's heartening to see other Americans react in humane ways.
